While I obviously enjoyed it and Akki was really good in it. but the movie was an average one, which could have been a much better one, but ended up being an half baked, khichidi.(yes oxymoron as khichidi is not baked).

It was based on a real murder case and given that they hardly added any extra extra info to make it entertaining is a win win.

See the movie was not poor or bad. But it was not worthy of being a NA winning performance nor was it a movie which can used to say Akki's recent movies has been great. Like the main reason why that movie IMO is not great is because of the execution. They had a thriller in hand, but the makers had to patriotic angle, comedy court scenes instead of compelling thrilling ones and mist importantly the movie tried to portray Rustom as hero. While for BO success that was important and me myself have given for arguments fot the movie but IMO the movie had a chance to be a dark thriller with no hero, everyone in grey shades. But that compelling went missing. It was a half baked project IMHO. It could have been a gripping thriller like Badlapur, but it choosed to be a masala movie glossed as thriller. And maybe for box office big holiday release that was important. At the end of the day, the movie is a hit, Akki has won NA, I am not complaining but saying things as it is according to me.
