He can't really act very well but most of the time he chooses unique scripts, SRK is much better actor than him.

The thing about good scripts is a bad actor can bring it down while a good actor can elevate the script.

So yes Aamir is a good actor and has good sense of what will work for him. Plus he never looks the same in his movies has guts to change his looks according to the character he plays. Which so far have not seen from mainstream BW actors.

QSQT, Raakh, JJWS, AAA, Rangeela, Sarfarosh, Earth, Lagaan, DCH, RDB, TZP, Ghajini, 3I, Talaash, Dangal.

Look at the diversity there. That's not even counting his other movies.

There are few mainstream Bollywood actors in history that match up to him here.

No Amir is not the only one who can act.. there are others too..

But what sets Aamir apart from others are CONSISTENCY in acting, his choice of CONTENT driven scripts and VERSATILITY in roles he plays..

Not really...Nawaz, Irfan, Ajay, Manoj, Akshay Khanna etc are also there...But where Aamir scores above these guys is with his script sense and perfectionism!

Not really. But his involvement with every project is matchless. And that shows in every scene he is in.

Except for Mela, D3 and Mangal Pandey, all AK movies are worth multiple-times watch. Even his average stuffs like Dil, AHAT, Ishq, DHKMN has superior acting skills than his contemporaries. There was a reason why he was chosen over the the-then overacting superstars for a path-breaking movie like DCH.

Nawaaz and Irfan hands down score more than him in acting department, but AK's quest for variety makes him a standout performer. 😎
