I think they broke up in 2011 and there was a discussion of live in relationships going on in one of the symposiums in my law school and there someone mentioned about that since they both were in a live in they would have to undergo a legal separation. And, i gueas they did too.

@Sujal : I agree... He is maintaining low profile in in terms of acting, doesn't provide much fodder to gloat over his personal ife. Has his share of big brands' endorsements and seem to be doing well as a producer... He still looks like that grounded and genuine guy he was when he debuted in Bollywood..

Actually John never wanted to marry her this is the main reason why they broke up. Maybe he never wanted to marry someone from the glam industry that's why he decided to go for that Priya Runchal.
