I assume Khan fans are all against each other and this is the norm? How disgusting isn't it? Seeing as though Bollywood is generally in quite a shit position, the mango people are using social media to dissuade people from going to the theatres, though mind you I don't know how much of this feedback on Twitter or even here is GENUINE?!
I went in to the cinema hall thinking once again a SRK film will disappoint as his recent films have done but actually it turned out to be a very refreshing rom-com! Like we BARELY have them anymore and when a decent one does come along, we bash it because...well I don't know why we bash it? For one, JHMS had no cringey scenes, the acting was genuinely brilliant and it was just a feel good love story with perhaps subtle complexities on surface. It does NOT have to be epic! It's a nice film, go watch it for yourself...I don't think SRK or Anushka hit a false note with this one. Yes, the second half does falter like most Imtiaz Ali films do including his classic JWM which goes through a slow phase without Geet.
I'd rate this movie above ADHM because the second half of that completely lost me. Cancer track out of nowhere because if Alizeh could not be with Ayan then she must be killed off *facepalm* ! JHMS doesn't try to be great but it's treatment is refreshing and it's worth a watch! I just don't get the OTT negativity!
It's DAY 1 of the movie's release - how do people jump to seal the fate so quickly and so HAPPILY? How sad is that!
P.S. I compared ADHM & JHMS mostly because they're in the 'love story'' genre & by two filmmakers who everyone seems to have a love-hate relationship with
