I don't think this guy will be able to get away with this for long -- eventually the authorities will investigate him. Having said that this is a recurring issue in Mumbai because many foreigners and NRI girls have been abused in the exact same way. I personally know one girl from Vancouver who left Canada to try her hand in Bollywood and she struggled for few months, met some shady characters, got ripped off, abused and finally came back to her parents.
