Honestly since Bahubali is disputed as Bollywood, this real life nepotism Dangal is the one I most enjoyed after the movie Dangal. But this is a conversation that needs to be had.
Most of all I enjoyed watching KJO, Nawab make a fool of themselves. 😆

No, I feel it is especially relevant in today's time. Though this issue is even a problem in politics, but keeping the discussion to bollywood. A decade or two ago, mainly male starkids were coming into bollywood and the daughters were married off instead of being encouraged to go into movie business, Karishma and Kareena were the exceptions and they ended up working. But, now? It's the male star kids, AND the female star kids descending upon bollywood in droves and that leaves little to no opportunity for the outsider males and females. Imagine if deepika, priyanka, or katrina tried to break into bollywood in today's time.

They would get a real break maybe 5 years into their careers because all the other prominent roles with good directors and production houses will be taken by sonakshi, alia, shraddha, sonam, etc. etc. Now in the next decade, mainly these star kids are going to rule because bollywood refuses to let outsiders get a foothold through denying them good projects. So, It IS a problem and we are losing out on discovery of great talents. This mediocrity is only going to hurt bollywood in the long run, so why should nepotism not be an important conversation?

I am tired of kjo's bashing whenever this word comes up. He is not comfortable working with people who he doesn't gel with that's it. I don't think he has any problem with outsiders. if u become friends with him somehow or don't give scary/alienated vibes he will work with you. He is a sensitive person and likes to stay in his comfort zone and he has full rights to be this way.
Seems like everyone just hates him and links him with everything that is wrong with industry.

So we are just supposed to ignore his snooty, elitist mentality where he looks down upon anyone not a starkid? And also his two faced hypocrisy where he admits to being nepotistic and yet balks at being called out on it? and what's more, He offers pessimistic perspective when someone asks for a change. If you can't do anything about it, then at least don't brain wash people into believing it is okay when it is NOT! Shut up, accept your nepotism and MOVE on instead of having bitch fights with people over it. He is the epitome of what is wrong with the industry, making fun of people, making snide comments about them on their back, putting pedigree over talent, gossiping and bitching nonstop and most of all shamelessly promoting and endorsing nepotism.

If something is prevalent in an industry, it clearly means that more than 1 person is indulging in it. In this case, nepotism.
It's quite ridiculous to blame the entire issue on KJo. He's a part of it but he's obviously not the be all and end all.

He is the loudest perpetrator of it. And nobody is blaming the entire issue on him, but he is the one who keeps bringing it up, even when he has nothing relevant to say about it. It shows his juvenile mentality and insecurity that he has to constantly mock and dismiss the issue. If he doesn't want to talk about it, then don't bring it up. Mocking such an important issue that affects so many people just makes him seem like an idiot and I personally have no patience for such people! 😳

The problem is that most of us have been stomped upon by people like Kjo who thinks they are invincible and can get away with anything and people have had it with such entitled pricks and their attitude and have had enough hence they have spoken out so strongly and been so vocal in their support of Kangana. I agree the problem is bigger than Kjo but he is the poster boy of such antics hence he is finally getting what's been long overdue.

But what else is there to talk about?

You can't make comparison topics, no polls, no criticism of actors, no mentioning of their personal lives

And the next drove is coming, Jhanvi, Sarah, Aryan...
