His films are under budget and this is Shoojit who doesn't create a mess. All his films have been successful post Vicky Donor and on top Varun can act, he just doesnt need to invest 4 years in one mediocre project to prove himself

Not arrogance but it's tad silly that to say one should stick to commercial films when he has even delivered an off beat A rated thriller and proved his acting capability either in that or rom-coms and comedies. It's not arrogance or confidence when we are pretty sure that our favourite does like to work on controlled budgeted film
