So did PC get an Emmy nomination for Quantico?

I honestly didn't know if you were joking to make fun of Priyanka or being serious. 😕 People's choice is the least prestigious award, the one stars literally give no f**ks about. Emmy is basically the Oscars of television. Even the best shows and actors on television who are critical darlings don't make the cut. Rami Malek won the award last year, this year he is not even on the list. Actresses from some critically successful shows are not on there. And Quantico is a BAD show...both critically and commercially. So there was no way in hell anything related to Quantico would have ever gotten an Emmy nomination.

She should just be done with that show. Her talent is being underutilized. 😕

TM made the topic to make fun of Priyanka and look down on her. You're doing exactly that. So congrats TM, mission accomplished. Anyways some of the biggest stars attend people's choice to collect their awards... Tom Hanks, RDJ, Depp, JLo and many others value PCAs enough to make time to attend. They were all their this year.

Not many people win Emmys from their first show. Priyanka is doing well for herself though

He was on the show one life to live from 1993 to its cancellation in 2013. Give or take 8 years. He was imprisoned by a mad woman at that time. But that's too long A story

His story arc was that he showed up in 93 as a frat boy jock. Some girl humiliated him in front of the whole campus and he led a gang rape on her with his 2 friends. There was a 4th guy Todd tried to implicate but he was innocent. There was a trial and he pled not guilty. In the end his lawyer found out and she threw his case. Then he tried to rape her. In the end he was sent to jail. This is where it gets good. He decides screw prison. He poisons himself so the prison decides to take him to a hospital. This is where he breaks out of the van and leave town. Right as he is about to leave he sees another van crash. The van was about to fall of a cliff. But Todd decides to help them. In the van are the woman Todd raped and 2 young kids. He helps them out of the van. But the cops show up to arrest him. After some weeks he is given a pardon and it is discovered he is the long lost half brother of the shows main heroine. An he gets a huge inheritance. He starts his own newspaper business and prints funny headlines. He spends the next 20 years staying in and out of trouble. Getting married a few times. Am having a few kids.

But even though they turned him into a good guy everyone still brought up his past. He even had a scar on his face 😆 As a reminder

Other than Lucifer, empire, general hospital and sports I don't watch anything on tv

All my other viewing habits are on iPhone iPad laptop and those are old shows from 1990s

I tried watching a trailer of that show riverdale. Couldn't even get through the trailer

People certainly watch television even if they don't watch things live, or actually use a TV to watch shows. Shows like House of Cards, Scandal, How to get away with Murder, The Walking Dead, GAME OF THRONES, The Leftovers, Better call Saul, This is Us, Modern Family, Mr. Robot, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Black-ish, NCIS, Criminal minds, Madam secretary, Hawaii Five-0, The Crown, Master of None, Stranger Things, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Westworld, Veep, Atlanta, Shameless, The Americans, The handmaid's Tale, Fargo, Big Little Lies, Then there are thousand of reality shows that are also highly watched and usually watched live on tv.

I get that you absolutely adore Priyanka and I respect that but there is no reason to get so defensive all the time. I wasn't bashing Priyanka, or putting her down. The way some people hype up PCA here, a forum member who doesn't watch American awards might genuinely be confused about their importance.

Big stars also attend MTV movie awards and Teen's choice awards. These awards just don't mean much when compared to prestigious awards like the Academy awards, or BAFTA. For television it is Emmys, Golden Globes and Critics Choice.

Priyanka is doing well in her way, I find her achievement extremely impressive and want her to succeed. Saying Quantico is a shitty show doesn't mean people are bashing her or trying to insult her. Can't speak for others, but I don't come here to blindly worship celebrities or bash them.

Broadcast TV is pretty lame overall. Premium TV and the streaming network shows are (overall) really good. I trust HBO and Netflix to entertain me more than movies these days.
