Becoz she is/was one of the big hit commercial actresses. Her fame may be dwindling but she is still one of the few widely recognized names in BW..

I also don't get it. I just can't stand her acting. She ruins every film that has the potential to do well. :( But yet she gets all these projects.

TZH and TOH was because of Sallu push... Anand Rai's film is cos probably the character is such ... cold and statue with no acting chops...
Also I agree she is doing any small roles in these big budget movies to stay relevant... Also she maybe cheap as compared to other actresses in terms of charges...

And yet some of her flowerpot roles were somehow memorable. Dhoom 3 was f**king terrible, and yet all it was remembered was for Katrina's dance.

Because she's nice.

Networking and connections and politeness can take you far especially if you've already made a name for yourself.

People can speculate about her past all they want but most people in BW seems to like her and consider her a hard worker. She doesn't get into fights, she's not arrogant, and she knows how to manage without getting into issues and burning bridges.
