That's true...but I am talking about if they still want to have careers in the Bollywood...Even the mighty Amitabh had to humble himself and learn to take up the supporting roles...Its another thing that his supporting role just becomes the main role no matter which corner he takes up, just by his sheer presence and acting skills!

And the same would happen to SRK and Salman too.. As SRK said after DZ, he had to do everything to make sure that his presence did not overpower the movie and he remained a supporting cameo role.. The Khans, be it Salman or SRK would not be accepted in supporting roles, simply because of the way they are perceived.. Sooner or later, they would either go down the road of AB or switch gears

Honestly speaking I don't see them losing their stardom.. Shahrukh's lean phase did not have any effect on his stardom.. Yes, the number of people watching his movies might have declined but not his stardom.. So I don't think he would lose it..
