Sanjay Leela Bhansali NOT upset with Deepika Padukone, reveal team Padmavati
Deepika Padukone was in the news recently when a photoshoot of hers went viral for its sensuous nature. News had it that a section of the audience did not take too kindly, their idol's bold pictures. However, news also had it that Deepika's Padmavati director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was also among the displeased ones, given that Deepika is portraying the role of Rani Padmavati in his movie.
A daily had reported a source as saying, "Deepika is essaying the role of a historical character, a Rani (queen) in Padmavati' and to pose for steamy photoshoots right before the release of the film, is unacceptable to him (Sanjay Leela Bhansali). He feels the pictures could rub people the wrong way. After what has happened in the past, he just cannot afford to risk it all for the third time."
However, a senior member of team Padmavati took to Twitter to rubbish these rumours. Shobha Sant, CEO of Bhansali productions replied to a tabloid carrying the news saying, "Really? Who thinks this up for you? This is the silliest one yet. #FakingNews."

The movie also features Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Shahid recently hinted that the movie is going to be an intense love story between himself, who plays Deepika's husband in the movie - Raja Rawal Ratan Singh - and Deepika. The dimpled beauty however, will not have any scenes with alleged real-life boyfriend Ranveer Singh.
The movie is set to release in November this year.
