Because it is heavily biased towards one gender only? Actresses reaching their 40s is a death knell for their career, regardless of their talent (unless they settle for mother roles like in your examples? 😕) Looking at Gulabi Gang or Dilwale, their contemporaries like Madhuri, Juhi, Kajol etc have maintained themselves as well or better. Anyday prefer to watch powerhouse talents who steal the show onscreen than blank faces like Kat or Jackie. Yeah it's not just the actor's fault, the scripts also have to evolve beyond fluffy romances that would serve justice to these actresses. But if we pay for their tickets, we can also crib why 40+ women have to become sanyaasis and retire.

Those examples are not really apt, Amitabh and Rakhee, Sunil Dutt and Nargis ...all these people were closer in age than Aamir and Fatima

Its because TOH is coming right after Dangal that makes it more icky...if Anu had played SRK's daughter in her 1st movie and then played his heroine, we would be grossed out too

Only in SRK's case, members here suddenly remember age, and crib abt acting his age, thats why I have to remind them abt Aamir

Sallu had starred against Anu in Sultan, did these members dare to complain then?
