Same.. I am not a CRAZY GVM fan but I like his movies - or the way he portrays love! And yup, his execution! Nothing new as per story.. but how he shows it..

Songs picturization is good too.. He tends to go for montage like sequences rather than duet with group dancers! 🤢 I like that..

GVM's movie - Personally, I watch it for the way he carries out certain scenes.. There is usually nothing new in the stories, except a love story.. But he portrays it beautifully on screen.. Usually in Tamil movies, they carry out the same formula for the love story, which I am tired of seeing...

Marital status of heroines - Things are changing now.. so let's see..

I hope Sweety will continue too even after few years or so!

I'm too picky about the movies.. Something to feel-good about the story and something to do with the screenplay and especially actors.. Except for Vettaiyadu vilaiyadu I couldn't come to like many of GVM's movies though I've watched few of them just for Jyothika 😳.. And Minnale for Madhavan.. 😉

Anushka - A lot depends upon the scripts that gets to do.. Just doing for the sake of it due to some hits may not be good for her.. Really commercially driven industry so can't expect much in terms of creativity and out of the box stories.. 🤔

I still don't understand this group dancing thing though. 😆

But yeah GVM is a good director.. and I am not fan of tragedy.. so I try to avoid his movies... But end up watching because of certain things that he handles well..

I understand.. For me, even if I don't like the full movie, I like certain aspects in GVM's movies.. and so I have watched most of them..

Madhavan fan? my Sister-in-law is one too.. 😆

I agree.. she should do it only if script is good! I know.. I just wish it would change slowly..

True I don't like tragedy but certain movies of his - I think tragedy is justified. Like VTV - yeah ending is not a happy one (in Tamil) but it makes sense if u think about it..
