^^Ya that's it but all that has created his image of hers that endures. Her affair with Raj Kapoor & marriage With Dutt, the affair with Dutt which begun on the sets etc is what people seem to remember her by, AFAICS.

^Right. It does seem very romantic for her onscreen son to have fallen for her in that movie and then saved her from the fire and all. But I really loved her acting too. Maybe she just got famous for being the Mother India.
