Ayushman has done how many movies????

The only 2 roles he's actually been praised for are Vicky Donor and DLKH

And let's include Meri Pyaari Bindu too. But all 3 roles are nothing but boy next door roles. He tried cool dude roles but failed (Nautanki Sala and Bewakoofiyan) then did Hawaizaada

This dude can't pull of action or any commercial roles

Varun has done comedies, romantic and action/thriller - he may not be a complete natural but he has improved well over the time.

The part which Ayushman fails is screen presence and ability to entertain. Varun on other hand steals show. Varun has always got good reviews from harshest critics even for shittiest films where as see reviews for Bewakoofiya or Nautanki Saala

See I had a similar issue accepting Salman as an actor when he started first.. same I see with varun... and that is if daddy wasn't in films.. would he make it this far?

Salman proved it time after time!!! Varun hasn't at least yet.. more movies like badlapur than humpty dampty crap will be a great starting point!!!

Ayushman is a gem but he needs to take up more movies and make a foothold in the industry.
Some threads turn a joke when actors are called better than non actors 😆

He is not better than Sushant, who has done some great work in Detective Boyemkesh Bakshy!, Kai Po Che and then MSD. The gap is going to widen further looking at Sushant's upcoming movies (barring Rabtaa).

I will give you Varun and ARK. But he hasn't done anything like Badlapur and to be fair its seems like a one off for Varun. And you can basically make the same argument for ARK as your case for Ayushman with Fitoor, YJHD, DEI. I am yet to see Meri Pyaari Bindu though.

Sid, well there is nothing to add here. Ranveer I don't like much at all as an actor, he has the same problem as Varun though dialed up 10 times. Over the top and too melodramatic, Lootera is the only thing he is good in from the stuff I have seen (DDD, RL and BM)

Both Vicky Kaushal and Raj Kumar Rao are far, far better too. I think they are the best of the group (Ranbir included). They are versatile, and are constantly doing great and different work.

He is an amazing actor. And his voice is brilliant. That diction though. ❤️ He can be such a good orator.
