In her debut film Parineeta, she looked slim

Much later in Bhoolbhulaiya also she looked fine and danced up a storm in Mere Dolna/ ami je tomar

I think recently shes been suffering from Thyroid or some other health issues which makes her gain weight, it started from Dirty Picture where she gained weight to portray Silk Smitha

She looked fine in Kahani 2 though and acting was top notch...

I think she gained weight for Begum Jaan again in order to portray the role convincingly

I think she has. She is surviving in Bollywood, only because of sheer talent. In 80s (90s?), when Shilpa Shirodkar gained weight because of Thyroid, she did not even last for a year. But those people mainly did glamorous roles, which is not the case of Vidya.

Life always throws challenges on her. Hopefully she will win it again.

She has since dirty picture.

It's way too easier to gain weight than loose it. That's the reason body suit was invented.

I think she could be undergoing fertility treatments. It could cause weight gain I have heard. It makes sense if she wants to have a baby. If I am right I hope she gets her wish for a baby.

Nah. Kahaani's shooting was done before Dirty Picture.

OT : It started ever since she put on weight for the portrayal of Silk Smita.

Kahanii 2, not Kahani 1...Kahani 2 was last year, Kahani 1 was before DP

Shes gained and dropped weight throughout the years

Her weight is always fluctuating, health issues might be a reason for that

But she puts on weight for film roles also.

She's my favorite actress but I'm really concerned about her condition. She didn't look good during B-Jaan promotions, she's looking out of shape these days.
