This + along with being told she was wrong in front of the full court, prevented her from seeing the greater good that Maahishamthi would benefit from having Amarendra as the King!

Yeah, thanks to Bhalla, these 2 women never had the opportunity to look at the good side of each other! They would've truly been an awesome combo.. Imagine a court with Amarendra on throne & these 2 women by him to support him!! Damn!

Mahishmati would have been invincible in every way! 👏

But then, perfect things usually never happen. Bad things always come in the way of perfection, whether it be in our ancient epics or classics like this movie. 😔

One scene I really loved was the moment when Mahendra leaped into the air to deliver the final blow to Bhalla, and we saw the image of Amarendra form in the skies behind him. 👏 That final blow was as much Amarendra's revenge as it was Mahendra's, which he delivered through his living and breathing son.

It wasn't enough that he killed Baahu, and desecrated his body, killed his new born son (at least he thought he did) but he just had to continue his vendetta posthumously against Baahu. I think he saw how angry Baahu was seeing Devasena in chains in the court room scene, and it gave him great pleasure to chain her up because he knew that would anger Baahu the most.

Yup.. as Amarendra had said earlier.. Touching Devasena was like touching his sword... a dishonor for any warrior! So by capturing Devasena and keeping her imprisoned, it gave him the feeling of having an upper hand over Baahu!

Although I admire Devasena, maybe she shouldn't have reacted as aggressively/harshly. Amarendra is calm and he makes the right decisions. He is intelligent and I'm sure he knows how to convince his mom. Poor guy was sandwiched between the 2 ladies

Darling was phenomenal in the movie. Frankly speaking, I wasn't expecting this from him. I mean I've always loved him, in fact since his Varsham days (albeit in 1 movie or 2 😆 ) but I wasn't expecting such a high calibre acting from him. But he made me eat up my own words, and in the part 2, he had completely blown my mind away.

Both the characters were completely different. Its not only about the looks but the body language, the emotions... both the portrayals were magnificient!

Even I didn't expect it from him! I mean, I always thought he did very well in his other movies, but I didn't know he was capable of this much. He truly exceeded everyone's expectations.

You know, I initially thought the hype over this movie was overdone, and expected it to be melodramatic and OTT, but then I saw part 1 and loved it, and then I saw part 2 and fell in love.

This movie deserved all the hype it got and more. 😎

She says something and he adjusts the way he sits
She hitting him, he taking card from her lap as if no one is around
When she claps her hand, chirping I won I won, this fellow slightly hits her and gives a look as if asking her to stop

She calls him pabsu pabsu pabsu, he calls her sweety which recently became sweetu also

They are just friends, I bliv it
Its, not their mistake, it is our mistake that we observe so much nothing wrong pabsu sweet you people continue and kill us with confusion😡

Pabsu-Sweetu are just friends pa
Just bliv them

Ok, when did the angry part happen? Like he is angry and ignoring her, and she is sad. This angle is new to me

I agree, but then Devasena was so perfect already, she had to have a flaw to be human. 😉 Her flaw was being quick to express her anger. In every situation, her anger was completely justified, but instead of spewing venom in her words, she could have kept her anger in check and dealt with the issues more subtly. I think that's why Bahubali and Devasena were so perfect together. They balanced each other out. Devasena taught Bahubali that the world is not perfect and it's important to fight for justice, even if it means going against one's family, while Bahubali taught Devasena that there are different ways of fighting injustice, and sometimes keeping quiet bears fruit more than spewing harsh words. I think that's why Devasena mostly kept quiet during her 25 years of imprisonment. She adopted her husband's calmer approach, knowing that anger would get her nowhere and that one day, justice would be hers, but she would have to be patient for it.

And thats where Sivagami's character was ruined and failed for me. She was such a strong character, how could she go to the extent of killing Baahu without a proper investigation?! No matter what, this can be justified!

Sivagami's problem started when she promised Devsena to Bhalla, without knowing how Devsena feels about the entire thing. Of course, one could send proposals, no harm in doing that. But promising? Devsena is no toy or anything.
Sivagami wanted to make her son happy because at some level, she knew that he was being magnanimous about the coronation of Amarendra as King. What she didn't know I'd that magnanimity was false.

Devsena's rebuttal was spot on.
