For me what Sivakami was that is reflected on Bhahu and what Bijaladeva was that is reflected on balla. 😊

Leaving aside how "fair" is sivakami I would like to share a scene in the movie which shows sivakami was fair.

Devasena enters the palace with her just born baby. She is told her husband is no more. She is shocked and broken.

Sivagami asks for forgiveness and she declares Jr. Bahu as the king.

The biggest victim in all this is Deva and her son. When Jr. Bahu is declared as the new king of Mahishmathi you can see devasena smile inspite of the loss. Not because her son is the king but because she understood what Sivakami did was not a crime but a punishment according to her.

And the saddest part is for the first time, devasena calls Sivakami "Athaya". She called her as rajmatha till than but first time she calls her "athaya". Husband's mom is called athaya. Devasena never called her that when her husband was alive. She called her that after his death that too after knowing it was her order to kill him. She trusted her to save her child.

I think that's where Rajamouli showed Sivakami was "fair" but she was "mislead"

The other victim of Bahu death is MAHENDRA.

After knowing the whole story, he stills calls Kattapa "Tatha".he calls himself raja matha Sivakami Devi manavudu, amrendra Bahubhali varusudu. His oath was taken under the name of Sivakami.

I loved how his anger was on the right person. Every character was right and every character was wrong in their own way.

True, he is a good actor no doubt but he excels in mother sentiments his movies like Chatrapathi, Yogi and now Bahubali all related to to mother and D does a commendable job. I think it's his real self that comes out on screen he is so attached to his mother and so relates to all mother characters on screen. 😳 😆

Next movie of his would be 'THALLI' a full fledged mom-son melodrama starring D as the son and Anushka as his mother... 🤣 😉

I wonder wat wud hav happened if Kattapa told Amrendra abt the promise bfr killing him? They could come up with an escape plan Or will Amrendra tell him to follow orders anyway?

During the Battle with the Pindaris, at the end of it, everybody had wounds and scratches. Though Amarendra was definitely the highlight in this sequence, given that the Kunthalas saw a completely different dimension of him, I would have liked seeing a few scenes of Devsena and Naayaka ion the battlefield.
