but the meaning of it could be simple..

the desire to get the child to safety and god's sankalpam to keep the child alive to finish of the evil😛

a simple example from Mahabharatam.. Where Bheema falls on a rock but rock breaks and baby is safe.. because Bheemudu is the one who was born to kill all 100 kauravas!

Devasena waiting for her son to comeback and rescue her.. It's not just her but he kingdom of Mahishmathi which is more dearer to her husband. If she had escaped then the kingdom is left behind.. That's not what Amarendra would have wanted.. And Sivagami knew that too. And that unspoken trust and belief that Devasena has on Sivagami.. Trusting her with the child and understanding that Sivagami is capable of saving the future of Mahishmathi no matter what.. To stand by justice though she failed to in the interim.. 👏

In Madhan Karky's iv, he mentioned this is his favourite song. It's a lullaby Sivagami sang to Amara as a child, and she sang of how she would protect him, Kattappa Mama would give him anything he wants, and Bhalla Anna (elder brother) would play with him, sleep peacefully my child. And the same song plays as she mourns Amara. SSR knew how to reach deep in, grab hold of my heart and rip it out😭

Out of all moments in the movie, this is the most, most significant one for me. This is why I end up crying every time I see this movie. Amara's death is sad, but this lullaby and all that it promised to the young, sweet Amara was broken mercilessly, and that's what tugs at my heart the most. The very people Amara grew up loving and trusting, killed him in the end.

Rajamouli surely knows all the tricks in film making. 😆

On a serious note, that's the story. 😭

I cried a lot when chakram died also. I generally don't watch sad endings.

There is a myth that in TW movies flop if lead actors die. I was like my people are like me. 😆
But BB2 is diff, I started accepting death of characters too.

Well not in future but this one I accepted.

God, it was so horrible to control in theatre. I just wanted to cry out loud.

In tamil it was equally horrible! I watched in all 4 languages! DAMN DAMN DAMN! My sister was trumpeting with all tears and tissues.. whole theater was crying.. But I had fiery tears in my eyes!

Every single person in this lullaby was responsible for my amarendra's death!

Never once I have been this emotional watching a movie!
