Number 1 is surely Aamir Khan...
Dangal is at Top and PK is 2nd Highest Grossing Movie of Bollywood.
2nd is Salman as he is constantly giving Big Hits for the last 7 years.
Others are fighting for Number 3 spot.Akshay and Varun might conqour that spot.Srk is out of the race as he had a flop film last year.

Are we talking about BO draw or stardom? If it's stardom then nobody is even close to Salman and Shahrukh. These are different elements. As a BO draw, Aamir is up there, but I find it intriguing why many have him ahead of Salman.

BO draw is about the initial and the hype a movie creates based on the star/actor in the movie. Aamir's movies have better lifetime records than Salman, but the opening/first-week figures of Salman's movies are higher. We have both with 2 movies each in the 300 crore club.

It's not as clear cut. The final gross of a movie isn't at the hands of the star/actor. Content is eventually King, as Bahubali exemplifies. In general, Aamir's movies have better content than Salman's movies. This decade, apart from Bajrangi, Dabbang, and Sultan (to a lesser extent), Salman's filmography ranges from borderline awful to semi-decent. The quality of movies like Veer, Ready, Bodyguard, Dabbang 2, Jai Ho, and PRDP was shocking.

So, yeah, it's not as clear cut as many believe.

I like Akshay, but I still think SRK is #3 (as a BO draw). SRK can manage big openings, which Akshay can't (not in the same scale). If anything, SRK's choice of movies has been weird this decade, whereas, Akshay has developed stellar script sense.

SRK's filmography this decade:

MNIK, Ra One, Don 2, JTHJ, CE, HNY, Dilwale, Fan, Dear Zindagi, and Raaes.

Bold movies: I have no idea why SRK decided to do them. I can perhaps try to understand Ra One because he wanted to break the barrier with VFX/Sci-Fi genre in India (even if the script and performances were poor). Alas.
