Piyatrix: Eh no, no-one anywhere as has said it is a fact, it is an opinion & being a forum anyone can chime in. I would like to assume based on his behaviour that he is a sociopath, you being a big fan, would like to believe (read- Assume) that he is just a detached Casanova. It's all fair, lol. C'ya.

No, pulling the fire alarm was not a prank. But I would excuse it on curiosity if you are not used to fire drills. We've all pressed buttons of all the floors in an elevator just to see what happens as a kid. But the pushing of a maid in a pool whether she could swim or not is narcissism and powerplay. Why did he not push his sister ? Cause mama would probably beat him like most desi parents.

Ranbir comes from a terrible background where men are treated different from women. Look at the support that family gave Karishma who had to face a casting couch because "Kapoor babus do not act" and they hated her mom. He knows only what he has been brought up with. Yet you can grow up decent. Plenty of rich kids and kids from messed up families grow up to be good people. But then again Ranbir is not so different from the actors of BW, so he is part of a messed up subgroup. I wouldn't point a finger at just him.

Only the people who know him personally can know that.. As far as this forum is concerned, no actor is normal so I wouldn't place too much faith in what I hear here if I were in your place

And whether RK is sociopath or not, I don't know.. But whatever he is, his family turmoil and his parent's relationship has NOTHING to do with it. if he does something wrong, it is on him and him alone.. you cannot blame your childhood "trauma" for how you treat people for the rest of your life

I doubt he worried about the fact that his mother would beat him up. Add problem with authority to the list. I had a nanny growing up, and she was not a part of the family but she was/is my family.
As a kid, I could never imagine throwing someone in the pool as a prank not only out of respect and out of the seeping fear that my maa would be so mad at me, and nice warm slaps would come my way. His maid could've been an elderly woman too (not that I know otherwise). And that would've been worse.

Both Dad and Mom would have spanked me had I tried any stunt like that. We were taught swimming from a young age, but taught how to do so safely. If we had tried to do something like that on purpose as a kid, I would probably be sitting with a sore butt even today. 😆

If Neetu or Rishi had not chastised Ranbir for it shows what they think of the help. If they did not correct their kid as most normal parents, rich, poor, middle class would do shows negligence as best and IDK what to say at worst. Most parents of any ethnicity would at least scold a kid within an inch of their life eve if they do not believe in spanking.

Come on he was a kid when the first incident happened! He isn't a sociopath! He was just a little bratty boy who needed a good spanking from mom!! I have seen stupid things young boys do and they have grown up to be responsible normal human beings when disciplined properly after one of these bratty acts!

I have pulled the fire alarm at school when I was 10! In fact kids at school used to do it so often (not just me i have done it ONLY one single time) that the fire department eventually disconnected it from their system as there were just so many freaking visits that were totally bogus..
I was a very normal happy go lucky preteen.. and it was a very common prank to dare each other to do it!
I feel bad about is as the responsible adult I have become. But that 10 year old didn't get caught and had no regrets! We just laughed at a prank well done (and I went to an all girls exclusive private school)

My parents would have skinned me alive had I been caught!

He was 15 during that fire alarm incident, he know what he was doing but I don't think that behaviour is that abnormal

But pushing a maid into a pool knowing she cannot swim just to see how she would react (she nearly drowned) is not normal for kids or bratty boys... She nearly drowned...

(Neetu said he pushed her knowing she cannot swim just to see how she will react.)

I don't know if that makes him sociopath but it's certainly not normal... But 'Sociopath' is too harsh

I don't know if PC mom (or was it PC) incident is true, but if it is, he was above 21 when that happened, right? But atleast she knew how to swim... So that's ok ( Unless he thought she couldn't swim and disappointment to learn later that she could)
