Gul gives some romance which is what I need rather than drama which Ekta gives. And check the bold. I said here and there only not everywhere because no show ain't got logic if you see it that way. For example, current naam, khoon, khaandaan track is good, in my honest opinion. And IB was good in the beginning with lots of sitcom comedy which made up for the fact that Shivaay was a low-key jerk. He turned a badass jerk during the marriage track but yeah, he has repented and has been repenting even during the current track. So, character growth is there. While I can't tell the same for Anika, but yes, that falling for the jerk thing is called 'The Stockholm Syndrome' which I too dislike. I can't justify why it happened. Only Gul and her story writers can, prolly. And I really don't want to talk about Ekta. Her shows have marred my childhood.

i think u should watch PKHJD its one of ektaa's best...also one of those few shows where the lead is not an A-hole...after this show she did made a good show ajeeb dastaan hai yeh but it went off air coz of low trp..for this too ektaa should be blamed because its her who started crap now when she's trying to make content based shows the audience had rejected her..
@BOLD ektaa easily trumps gul in thiS DEpartment as well because indian tv's most loved couples are from the stables of balaji like angad-kripa,sujal-kashish,bajaj-prerna/anurag,gauri-pratham,ram-priya,kavya-anjali,archana-manav,ishra etc nd there are loads of others as well like rizwan-preet from PKHJD

I don't know many producers in small screen, I grew up by watching Ekta's shows, Pavitra Rishta is one of the show that I liked at the beginning but then it turned out to be boring, then I heard about Gul from QH and she makes worst shows ever, I don't know who Rashmi Sharma is.

All of them suck but Gul's shows are horrendous. They promote manhandling and aggression towards women, it is disgusting! And then these idiotic fangirls worship these so called romantic scenes. Shivaay emotionally abused Anika, manhandled her, threatened to rape her, and also said will kill her brother if she doesn't marry him. The reason to this was because he thought she slept with another man. Like how pathetic do you have to be to do this to someone. I don't even think he once apologized to Anika for this.

Gul for sure. She really does make man handling and emotional/ physical abuse a trivial thing. What's more dangerous is the fact that she disguises all these acts as the passionate love of the ML towards FL. She excuses their behavior on a 'troubled past' and 'inability to show their real feelings' but never shows a redemption or an apology on all the damages these men have caused for the FL and her family. So really, a man can abuse you and make your life hell as long as he has suffered a lot in the past. That's her logic 🤔

It's revolting. Young impressionable girls think that this is what a normal healthy relationship should be when it really really is not and no man should be treating them that way.

Anyway, I think most of us have expressed similar views and I don't want to reiterate. But these female producers really need to stop and think a little about the social responsibilities and what sort of messages they are installing on the young generation with these nonsensical serials.
