Why did Deepika Padukone skip Priyanka Chopra's party?.

Priyanka Chopra had a mad time partying
here in Mumbai for all those days she was
here. She threw a lavish bash with the who's
who of Bollywood being invited for the
party. From Alia Bhatt, Sushmita Sen to
Kangana Ranaut; PeeCee was bonding big
time with everyone. In case you were
wondering if Deepika Padukone wasn't
invited, let me tell you, that wasn't the case.
Deepika was invited to Priyanka's party but
she gave it a miss. Why? According to a
report in a leading daily, the leggy lass
couldn't attend the part because of her
professional commitments. A source was
quoted saying, "Deepika has been shooting
at nights for Padmavati and was even
shooting at Film City on the night of the
party."
Recently at an event, Deepika was asked to
comment on her equation with PeeCee
where she called her a friend. "I like the fact
that you use the word friend', because
that's what she is to me. So, every time I
read anything that doesn't say that [we are
friends], it really surprises me. I have always
said that she is someone I've known for
many years. I feel extremely awkward and
weird when such comparisons are made,
because I don't even believe that we are
professional rivals. We never were. So, why
should we be now? She is doing amazing
work in her own space. And what her work
will require from her in terms of time and
other commitments are different from what
I am working towards or what I am

So if the cold war is over and they are
friends, then ideally, to make it known to the
people and as a token of friendship, DP
should have attended the party for a brief
period of time. Don't you think so?
On the work front, Deepika is working on
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati and
Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for her
Hollywood debut - Baywatch.

Priyanka tweets Deepika happy birthday, wishes her for xXx3, invites her to parties... no response. Idk what happens behind the scenes but based on what we know if PC has taken a step back then good... it's about time. You can't just keep reaching out to someone that doesn't reciprocate.
