Rishi Kapoor's tweet on funeral of Vinod Khanna and corresponding rediff post reminded me of this gem in Kagaz Ke Phool

When I read Sharukh's statements in TED talk ("Humanity is like me, an aging star"), I imagined how could be if Sharukh could act in this movie if remade.

I once watched a a crappy movie called KANK because of him. My mind kept comparing it with Kagaz ke Phool. It was was not even half of that.

But now when I look back, I feel everyone were novice. Sharukh had not tasted what is failure in career/love meant then. If he were to act in such a movie, he could excel now.

Even otherwise, I hope he can get back to his roots. I hope he can team up with Aziz Mirza once again instead of Chopras and Johars. He owes this to his fans, who associated themselves with him (as a common man) once.

Plzzz, if I were given single boon by a Bollywood bhagwan, I would ask him/her to not allow the old classic movies and great songs to be remade or remixed. They r gems and untouchables . Why u all want to make another RGV's Aags out of them

Please leave them alone and let them be as it is

NO PLZ spare classic movies and actor/director like Gurudutt; all legendary yesteryear actors who were better in every way from all stars of today. Sick & tired of this remake trend of old movies and songs. One more reason classics cannot be made: minds and so called talents who lack capability of giving evergreen originals cannot even copy classics correctly. If they cannot make evergreen originals, they are not worthy of giving remakes too.
