No u didn't say to learn but I m just speaking about the problems with learning Hindi. Eventually everyone will forget their own mother tongue. Like u said we have no time to keep learning all languages. We have to study actual subjects too This is why people are giving up on their mother tongue and moving to other languages. Thus killing the local languages slowly. Learn Hindi in India. learn English outside India. Since no one cares about my mother tongue its better to forget about it.Thats the attitude now.
People from all mediums are looked down upon. We love discriminating people that way. Nothing special with Hindi. They will treat u the same if u come from any other local language.Sometimes even I get hate for coming from an english medium school 😆 Apparently I m not Indian enough if I can't read hindi properly.
Hhaha that is a general way now. My best friend is Bengali and when she speaks English, I ask her what she is speaking. So, now I know a few words here and there out of interest
I cannot speak in my mother tongue properly. Though my mom insists that I should . So with her I converse in my mother tongue, but every where else I use either English or Hindi because majority of people know it even though tooti phooti. I guess every Indian language has threat from English as well not only Hindi. But, if we have strong values, I don't think we will stop learning our own mother tongue. I am learning it now😆
Agree! We love discrimination and even I am made fun of when I cannot count in Hindi, but its okay.
Frankly speaking, there are bigger problems that India has to tackle beside language and we fighting and debating or degrading each other on basis caste, religion, language and color is not helping and ultimately will give us a bad image globally. In era of globalization, we should start accepting people I guess. But that's just my point
