Acting - Urmi (although Rani is far better when it comes to romcoms, Urmila is awful in romcoms)

Looks- Don't really care. Both are cute-ish. Urmila is significantly sexier though. I don't think any BW actress can ever pull off that perfect balance of sensuality and innocence of Urmila's character in Rangeela.

Chemistry -

Salman - Rani. They are always adorable together. I hated Janam Samjha Karo.

SRK - Rani for sure. I loved them in KKHH and K3G, not so much in KANK but still. Chamatkar was ridiculous. I like that Iss pyaar se song though.

Aamir - Urmila. Amir's one of the better chemistries was with her IMO. I only liked Amir/Rani in that 'Kali naagin ke jaisi' song in Mann and bits of Ghulam.

Also the whole comparison is kinda unfair because Urmila never really got offered the kind of roles Rani did for a while.

You should add dancing into the mix. Both were great dancers too. Book marked! Will be back with answers later.

acting - Urmila though Rani is very good too. Urmila is marginally ahead

looks - Both have great features. Urmila had a great figure.

dancing- Both.

SRK- Rani

Aamir- Urmila (Rangeela remains a classic after many years)

Urmila is better looker but other than that Rani trumps her in all categories.
