@Freelancer..totally agree! Tht random attacking was such a let down! Like u said I wanted to see Kattapa n Devasena training him properly. Also, the lack of scenes between Devasena and Mahendra was a major disappointment.. I mean she waited 25 years! Yet there was no hug or emotional dialogue between the two. Narrative wise Baahubali 1 was much better.

@Kareenafanatic: Her reaction was even more shocking during the godhbharai scene but the problems between Sivagami and Devasena started when the latter turned down the marriage proposal and that too in a very harsh tone. There was a reason for her to demand that Bahu should be the king but the marriage proposal could have been declined without the use of that harsh tone. Infact, Sivagami had not done something outrageous. I'm not against Devasena declining the marriage proposal but her choice of words was a little too much.

That said, I loved the portrayal of both Sivagami and Devasena. Such strong, fiery, badass women. ⭐️

Prabhas has an amazing screen presence obviously..its rare to see such towering magnetic personalities nowadays in BW anyway..where there are more boyish looking heros than macho men type..something fresh for me atleast..yes he is limited in his skillset, but he makes up for it with his commanding screen presence..btw I like his dancing skills too <3

imagine even with an almost 3 hour screentime, we still feel there was much left to be shown..😆 there are some movies which are unbearable with even less than 2 hours of total duration..and here I am eager for more!😛

one thing I definitely missed was Mahendra learning the warfare tactics..he just attacked rather randomly..it would have been nice to show him groom into a proper strategic warrior..Katappa training him and stuff..and Devsena imparting learnings required for a warrior and a king..

I actually thought it would pan out like that, with the part before interval dedicated to FB story and ending on WKKB, and part 2 being all about Mahendra's revenge..but this was almost about 80% on Amarendra..and I am not exactly complaining - one of the best male characters to grace the screen..

but that also made me care less about his son taking revenge..because the real king died anyway😒

the biggest reason my heart beats less for him.😛
