I always want to write this.. krk's latest tweet irked me to put up this topic here.. Its not just abt his tweet many others had done the same that is to look south indian film industry in a low way.. its just their false assumption to degrade our art based on looks n dressing... For people who didnt know abt his tweet here it is..
Its a shame to troll when someone announce a big project which can be a golden feather in indian film industry in future... to clear your doubt recently mohanlal announced a 1000Cr project named as mahabharat with MD vasudeven nairs novel randamoozhan which is actually the story of mahabharat in bheems pov.. im fascinated with MD's novel so i know how amazing the book is..

It is not just this tweet which offended me its the assumptions n judgement of people regarding south n i hate the way bollywood is portraying south indians in their films.. I totally hate chenai express.. A fake slang and doti n item dance cant be tamil culture.. And as a malayalee i can say we r a bit different from other southern parts.. Still family prefers to watch good content not the typical loud music n barely dressed heroines item numbers like in bollywood new generation movies.. The veteran actors stil not projected themselves with designer clothes n six packs.. They look so ordinary but they all can deliver good performance.. N honestly filmviewers expecting that only from them.. Unlike bollywood here people r not that much interested in looks n item dances n a lavish background.. Raw content n the story of ordinary people gets more applause here..

Bollywood is a bigger industry crowded with actors with good body n looks n actresses who want to compete with each other in figure n clothes n make ups.. N rarely someone make some good art like pink taare zameen par dangal etc here n there.. Most films believe in good songs, good looking leads, beautiful foreign locations, glamour, promotions n action to deliver a successful film.. N people including me like tht.. But whn someone making something different like a baahubali, pazhassiraja n the raw village fims like paruthiveeran, Pithamagan, n the plenty of low budget yet poetic malayalam movies n other regional movies appreciate it dont trash it with our wild imaginations..

N south indians r not what you all have seen in bollywood films.. we r educated n more digittally developed n traditional people.. Not the typically dark skinned with the typical saree doti n under educated people u all have been seen in films.. dont you think its time to stop this south vs north comparison n even iifa stands for indian films but that also reduced to just bollywood movies n appreciating them.. 😕

South Indian actors, know that multi-lingual projects happen because of the strength of your language and industry which you have been able to preserve. Multilingual projects are the epitome of language equality where other languages' and industries' worth are forced to be acknowledged.
Know that Bollywood is weak right now and are 'open' to you, but they will lose no opportunity to cut you down, or to dominate, if they could.

And know what is going on right now is Hindi imposition and chauvinism, which is designed to weaken the languages within two generations. You may be old and/or dead by then, but a weakened language means weakened industry, and a weakened industry means lack of.work for others like you and for your kids if they want to be actors. As if South and other regional actors will ever be given opportunities in a Hindi/North Indian film industry.

If you keep your mouth shut about Hindi imposition for the sake of your multilingual projects, it only hurts you and your industry and your language.

50% of BW movies are remakes of South Indian movies. Original would be having superb acting and remake would be usually crap.
Not that you should take silly KRK seriously.

First of all , regarding the tweet ,Mohanlal fans and moreover Malayalam movie fans will take care of it😆 . People already bashing him on twitter left , right and center.
Regarding the south versus north , I am fed up with the prejudiced attitude. The attitude of the majority of the people in North India is quite evident from the recent remark of the BJP leader , as if they are doing some charity by accommodating the southern people.
We often complaint the way foreigners portray Indians and India in their movies . They often highlight the poverty , slums and the other backward characteristics of India.
The same thing happens in Bollywood movies .They usually present South Indians as unmannerly ,people with a thick accent, and dowdy, but in reality most of the South Indian's are well educated , well mannered . Regarding the accent whether it is English or Hindi , they do have a thick accent , but that doesn't mean their English is bad and Hindi is not their mother tongue ,they cannot speak it fluently like a person whose mother tougue is Hindi.

Compared to the multilingual South Indian Industry the reach of Bollywood movies is huge ,because the people who can understand Hindi is comparatively high . Bahubali proved that a movie with South Indian actors can collect more or an equal amount of money a Khan film can earn .
Mohanlal's Pulimurugan collected 150 crores considering the population who can understand Malayalam 150 crore is a huge amount. And it was made possible by not a Good looking , handsome young guy with six pack , the same 55 year old fat guy made it possible. He had 4 hits in 2016 , 3 in Malayalam , one in Telugu. He have huge fan base not because he is good looking or manly , all credits to his acting forte.
