Anand L rai project Deepika had always mentioned that she has not finalised anything. Remember Rajeev masand interview. Where Rajeev himself said Anand L rai told him he has selected Deepika for the film...

Deepika opted out due to date issues and that's the truth

There are many stages. All offered people do not sign. Sign is last stage before shoots begin.
Since you are particular about signing can you show me signatures of Katrina on YJHD, CE & BM?

Deepika got signed by 3 as a brand ambassador Oppo, Jaquar and Loreal Paris. She was busy shooting ads and attending events for the same.

Also on world mental health day she gave talk on the same in Bangalore which was attended by a huge crowd.

She also just released spring/summer 2017 collection from her clothing brand All about you.

There was also a filmfare shoot & interview with Jitesh.

Just when the busy time was ending iBibo signed her as a brand ambassador and she is being shooting ads for the same.

They are releasing one ad each day.

All this other than attending parties and cheering.

These days (except Akki and character actors), everyone works on one or two projects only. Deepika having no Bollywood release in the past year does not mean, she is worse than Katrina who had a release like Fitoor.

Personally, I don't want Deepika to do ALR's movie because she has already done 3 movies with Sharukh. I am bored of her pairing with bir/veer as well. I want to see a fresh pairing.

I don't want to see Anushka in ALR's movie for the same reason. It will be a JTHJ repeat. I would like to see SRK with Sonam instead. ALR's movie with ARK-Sonam-Kat and Hritik's movie with Deepika will be a fresh pairing I would look forward to.
