The differences between Karisma and Kareena are primarily because of Karisma's early struggles - she worked hard to get better, and it shows, like ibelieveinpink mentioned, you can see Karisma's growth from Prem Qaidi to Zubeida just by sheer hard work. Whereas while Kareena can be OTT in Ki and Ka, MPKDH, she can also be subtle in Udta Punjab quite easily - a very switch-on-and-off kind of natural actress. Kareena mentioned that Karisma ratta maaro's dialogues, writing them out again and again, while Bebo reads the dialogues once and gives a near-perfect take the first time itself.

My personal favourite is Karisma (probably 90s nostalgia), but Kareena is no doubt a very talented actress, its a shame she didn't use her full potential really.

I agree with the last setence. Thee's a nostalgia with Karisma movies for me too since that was my childhood. I can't count the number of times I've seen Biwi No 1 or Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge or Raja Babu or Raja Hindustani. I don't think other than Jab We Met, I've seen any of Kareena's moies the way I've seen karisma's. But I definitely think there's a bias towards karisma more b/c of the whole growing up with the 90s movies and them being so grained in my memory.

But yeah I agree with everything you said above too!

Kareena is the better actress any day but a very lazy one! For all the reasons mentioned. I've never found Karisma good looking but I like her better & have a certain fondness attached to her from all the 90s films I've grown up watching, but Kareena is much better looking & infact I've always found her beautiful! A sentiment that most around me don't share one bit. 😆 Now if only it translated into her personality, so much the better for the poor souls who come in contact with her who aren't Saifooo, Karisma, Babita or her team. 😆

I agree I've never known people who've found her beautiful. She gets a lot of flak for her thick legs.
I think she has a different face which I quite like only when she is not pouting. Those features translate into manly for some, but I find her pretty especially her eyes. But she has a stinking personality most of the time.

On topic: It doesn't seem like a fair choice because Karishma started her career before Bebo. Kareena was good in Refugee, Jab We Met, Udta Punjab. While Karishma was good in Fiza, Zubeeda. They're both alright.

^^Every time I say that I find Kareena good looking they all look at me like I woke up from the wrong side of the bed 😆 But she's got absolutely radiant alabaster skin!!! And yes very nice eyes! These deep hazel-greenish eyes, nice hair & really nice voice. Bebo over Lolo for looks any day, until she opens her mouth.

^ Yeah mate, I don't understand the eye rolls either. Lol.
The only time she looks- manly, chudail, dayaan etc- basically all the pleasant adjectives thrown around with ease to describe her is when she pouts, and I got to admit she pouts 24x7. I think it is a natural reflex now.
She acts too snooty like she's the BW Angie and everyone else is a bloody midget.
Nevertheless, when she smiles it lights up all her features. But she chooses to be a duck. :|

P.S.: Good use of the word alabaster. You are right about that.

People call Kareena manly looking? Really?

I never heard that... I don't think Kareena looks manly or like a witch 😊

She looked fine and feminine during 'Refugee' but that's about it... Started going downhill 😊

Karishma on the other hand was called manly looking when she entered the field ( and she was really) later improved her looks, became pleasant

Who call her everything from "man in drag/drag queen/so masculine" etc to all those Tiger Shroff memes where they show he's Kareena with short hair!! I agree though I've always found Karisma over-rated , nice eyes & excellent figure but I've never found her good-looking & she looks quite masculine at certain angles.
