Why Can't Bollywood........

I was just wondering how come Bollywood doesn't make enough survival type of movies like Hollywood?!?
Poseidon was one in which people from different backgrounds came together to find a way out of a sinking ship
What about...
Frozen - Three skiers stranded on a chairlift are forced to make life-or-death choices which prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death.
Cast Away - A FedEx executive must transform himself physically and emotionally to survive a crash landing on a deserted island.
Open Water - Based on the true story of two scuba divers accidentally stranded in shark infested waters after their tour boat has left.
Beneath - Six high school seniors celebrating with day's excursion find themselves on rowboat attacked by man-eating fish and must decide who must be sacrificed as they fight their way back to shore.
Hours - A father struggles to keep his infant daughter alive in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Adrift - When a group of friends fail to lower the ladder of their boat, they find themselves stranded in the surrounding waters and struggle to survive.
And many many more it will take me a few hours to list all of them and I don't have the time...😆

Why don't they make movies about people getting stuck on islands and having to survive...
What about colleges?!?!? Couldn't a disaster happen where the students have to work together to solve the issue...
I wish Bollywood would make more movies like this cuz I love to see how people who in normal day to day life who walk past each other and never look back change and then these same people help each other when it's needed. I find it so interesting to see how people's psyche changes when these types of situations happen...
Think about the different types of complexed characters they can write not to mention the love stories in these types of scenario's...

The only recent movie I can think of that had this type of survival theme was NH10 which I loved... I am sure Bollywood must have made some but I don't know of them...
I think more need to be made!
Share ur thoughts and any ideas who knows someone might read this post and decide to make such movies 😉 (I doubt it though 😆)

Bollywood sucks at true horror. For them horror is possession. I really don't think they will do survival movies.

Have you seen Mr and Mrs Iyyer ?
I think that was a sort of survival film

Survival onscreen is thrilling to watch when life is otherwise confortable and luxurious ( I don't mean just financially)

Yeah I get what ur saying every other horror movie in Bollywood has some sort of possession in it 😆 That's why I made this post I think it's high time Bollywood starts making such movies it's an open unexplored market.

Also though I have not seen it...I read Trapped was sort of a survival film
But till now it has performed dismally at the BO

Yeah I heard about trapped I'm planning on watching it soon. I think they need to start making these movies with big stars and budgets that's the only way these types of movies will see light of day.
