I agree it is 😡 But I had been in depression before. I have an idea the feeling of hopelessness, helplessness in mind of a depression patient. He is mentally very weak and sometimes hurt to feel there is no other way out for him/her. But there is a way to fight it. I don't advocate not even trying to fight. Family support, friends support plays a great role here. Not only the patient himself has to think (should think) of his parents first, before taking this step. But sharing his/her problem with friends and family, is also important. But there is one more truth, it needs a very patient ear, if not completely understanding to let such people share their problems. Its very difficult I guess, to lend such kind of support and very important. Many times these things can be avoided if patient talks to someone in those weak moments. If he feels, no one will judge him. No one will say, this is not the way; you are weak to feel this way; how can you think that! because in the end, depression is a recognised disease, which needs high degree of understanding and support I agree with you, he should have thought for his parents. In the end is people who are left behind who suffer more. But also, I don't judge such people because their mental states are anything but normal.

Every human being in this world faces problems. Suicide is not the solution to every problem.

That guy was 24 year old adult and not a kid/teenager. He may be facing problems due to his studies or love life or bullying. He should have tackled it in a better way than committing suicide before letting the whole world know he is dying.

I feel the biggest issue that plagues Indian society is being uncomfortable being alone.

Go for a movie that friends are going for so don't feel left out. If friends don't do an activity, don't do it.

Uncomfortable eating alone.

The need to be diplomatic and people-pleaser. A "Mr./ Mrs. Congeniality" .

Like. do these things when you have a job and a boss. Not as a child.

How have these skill-sets gotten beaten into kids at such a young age? 😕

I hope you don't make video tutorials about how to feel horrible and lonely when you are depressed and then upload them on SM.🤔
