Priyanka Chopra's career in the West is on a roll. Bagging a prestigious magazine cover is her latest masterstroke. And how is Deepika Padukone, her rival-in-arms in Hollywood, coping up?
Deepika's xXx: The Return of Xander Cage came and went without a whimper. Priyanka, on the other hand is so out there' in her Hollywood debut movie, Baywatch, that there's already a queue of big Hollywood producers lining up to sign her in LA.

Says an unnamed source, "There's a huge pre-release buzz surrounding Priyanka Chopra's Hollywood debut, which was missing when Deepika Padukone showed up in xXx."
A very reliable source from the US informs us, "Out here, Priyanka Chopra is definitely the face of Bollywood cinema, the way Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was some time ago. It's no coincidence that reporters in LA mistook Deepika for Priyanka. The latter is now a metaphor for the Indian entertainment industry in the US. She's seen on every talk show in America, and on all celebrated magazine covers. Everyone knows Priyanka in the US."
As for Deepika, the option open to her is to focus on her Bollywood career. One of her prominent co-stars from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati reveals, "Padmavati will take Deepika's career to the next level. She will wipe out all competition. Kareena is in semi-retirement; Katrina is in hibernation; Alia is too young to take on Deepika. And Priyanka is busy conquering the West. This is the best possible time for Deepika to be in Bollywood."
