Oh, thank God for haters..he has arrived,you can't be a superstar without having haters...bkd opening is same as adhm,and bkd is release in March when his core fanbse has exam and still the film will get 13cr opening...,abeg,give the boy credit

SId has much bigger openings.

SSR had a 20 Cr opening last year for Gods Sake.

Worse or all Shandaar had a bigger opening than a sequel with HIT music and people are calling a 12 Cr opening a Superstar. 🤣

Same sid with 6cr opening in March,and lolz about SSR datz dhoni film...seat down and calm down then think properly...why do you hate him?

That was Kapoor and Sons right? The film was good but it worked because of the good content+family dynamics etc. On the other hand, Varun Alia brought audience to the theaters. Its their face value + chemistry + Songs that made/will make the film work.

Don't hate him...he's just annoying as f**k with his over the top acting and his terrible street accent. But gonna go watch it tomorrow for Alia ❤️ so will add a little bit to his 'success story'.

yea.kapoor and son has 6cr opening same as baar baar dekho despite featuring Katrina..and am also happy they are not fudging the collection...the producer figure is same as boi

The reason that I feel VD is ahead of the other young actors is that he seems to be very popular with the masses. Irrespective of the budget and whether the film is commercial or not, his films always open well because he is a hit with the masses, and I'm not sure Ranbir and Ranveer have that sort of appeal at single screens, which are crucial for being a superstar.

As for the above stars brought up in the thread-

Sushant's Dhoni didn't get a massive opening because of him though. A film about Dhoni was going to be huge no matter who was in it.

Sid's films' openings are similar to most young actors' films.

K&S was about 7 cr, BBD just under 7 cr.

Similar to most other young actors' films.

Ek Villain had a huge opening, as did Brothers, though that was with Akshay Kumar.
