Actress Alia Bhatt says her character in the forthcoming film "Badrinath Ki Dulhania" is more of a feminist and is very driven. "Badrinath Ki Dulhania" is the second film in the "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" franchise. "Kavya (in the first film) is younger, more naive, simpler character. She has one aim in life, to get married, in a lehenga. Whereas Vaidehi (in Badri') wants to fly, Ashe doesn't want to only get married. She is a strong, mature, ambition driven, more feminist kind of character," Alia told the media here.

Alia also spoke about her preference for spontaneity when co-star Varun Dhawan revealed that the "Udta Punjab" actress doesn't like too many rehearsals for a scene. "I am my most honest self if I don't know what I am doing . So if I have forgotten what I have done in the take then that means I have gone with the natural flow, else it becomes mechanical," she added. Alia will be seen sharing screen space with Varun for the third time. Varun and Alia made their acting debut in 2012 with filmmaker Karan Johar's "Student Of The Year" and in 2014 the two were seen in "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania". "Badrinath Ki Dulhania", which is the second film in the "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" franchise, is produced by Karan Johar. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the movie is slated to release on March 10.

Maybe KJo should teach his pet Aliya some vocabulary and its meaning rather than mocking other actresses. Maybe he can buy a dictionary for himself as well as Aliya.

So you can't be feminist if you want to get married ???!!!! "more of a feminist kind"...what a bs..

These girls use the words "feminism" "feminist" so loosely that they are loosing their importance. They don't even know how women had to fight for their rights.

And many think that feminist tag is a bad tag that's why some girls say things like "I am not a feminist but...this and that..."

They don't even understand that they are being able to state what they have on their mind is because of feminism and because some women actually fought for equality.

And true feminism never oppress men because then women won't be any different from mcps.

I think it's high time we start calling ourselves humanists.
