Most of Deepika's songs are listen a few times and then forget type. She isn't the best dancer so no one is watching for that, and the songs themselves, while great at first, don't hold much repeat value. I like deewani mastani for a while, but it was easy to get over, same with Lovely. I still listen to a lot of the songs in that list from other actresses, esp Kamli and Bulleya.

I think the numbers are more based on the songs then the actresses in them though. Bulleya is my all-time fave but has nothing to do with Aish being in it.

^But that's the thing, Lovely did better on the charts than Kamli, but Kamli eclipsed in views. YJHD album was blockbuster like ADHM, still not a significantly high number of views on the songs. Dance Basanti has more views than Balam Pichkari. Dance Basanti was a bigger hit as a song?

PS if we are doing the adding, Jac almost has a 200 mill with Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan

But how does it matter? I guess what matters more is most of her films work in BO and she gets critical acclaimed for all her roles.

^^ Agreed. I think when the songs first came out people listened to it much more than they probably did Kamli, but as time went on more people either continued to listen to Kamli or atleast watched for Kat's dance moves in it (IMO I thought she did really well). Also topping the charts is more of a snapshot in time so if no other good songs are out/come out in the near future, those stay afloat for longer.
But even on youtube people just play songs in the background and do other stuff and don't necessarily "watch" for any particular actress, after all theres only so many times u can rewatch the videos.
Some songs have more repeat value then others I guess. I think the person also mentioned Chittiyan Kallaiyan in the post.

I'm with ya. A lot of times, it depends on a lot of factors. Deepika is more known for her acting than for her action so songs like Deewani Mastani would get more views due to her expression while Katrina would easily get 60 million tops or even 100 million at most because of her dancing. But, it really all goes down to various factors and plus marketing.

By that logic, Jacqueline Fernandez must be one of the biggest stars BW has seen?
Isn't it clear that those views are for the popularity of the songs, rather than the actors/actresses. Youtube is the most accessible streaming service and it's free of charge so most people use it to listen to music.
