When I was a kid I used to make my parents mad as I used to ask them to drive me to BW movies and they would drop me off and pick me up or send me with a trusted friend family and I would go to pretty much any movie as they paid for it. 😆

Now that I must pay and drive, depends on actors whom I like, mostly Khans and Kajol. Others depends on script.

Husband drives me to movies 😆
I live in a place where few BW movies release . So whatever movie releases near me, I watch it .
Last movie released near me was ADHM and next is BKD.

The director-actor/director-actress combination.

Otherwise, pair any decent main-stream actor with art-house director (Motwanes, Kashyap, Banerjee, etc) and i'll gladly go to watch it.

If all movies were available to watch , I would go to the ones that have good WOM .
Or if Ranbir is in a movie .
I have watched all Sallu movies in theatre in India.

To the cinemas, dad decides..

When I watch alone, I never have one reason that pulls me towards watching a movie - lots of things drive me towards picking a movie - never constant, i just like watching movies because I feel they offer lot of perspective. Just an enjoyment of art of direction and acting. I do look for good dialogues besides direction and acting. If I have to pick one, it will be good direction..

To the cinemas, director, but mostly trailer. Sometimes just timepass. When we both watch together, it's usually direction too.. Sometimes story, sometimes actors, sometimes cinematography and so on... Never one reason I guess

Innovative and social issues charged scripts. Pink. Dangal. Kahani. Queen. The film's story has to have the bigger pull than the actors for me.

it depends on the star. i only mostly watch salman movies and now vd movies. if i have time will watch the rest and support pirated dvd sellers

Director, Actor or Actress and plotline, whatever I have guessed from trailer or read abt it online.

There are some actors and actresses whose movies I try not to miss in the theaters

For many years we lived in an area where BW movies didnt release, so I had to watch really crappy videos or DVDs of my favorite's movies...

But now I live in a desi-fied town. there are 4 theaters nearby where every single BW movie releases without fail so now I can watch according to my choices.

Last year alone I watched 7 BW movies in the theater.
