Not Taimur, Begum Ji Calls her Boy w/new name 'Little John'

You won't believe but Taimur Ali Khan just got a new name thanks to his mommy dearest Kareena Kapoor Khan. Yes! As per TOI report, no longer refers to Taimur as Taimur but calls him as her "Little John" Can you imagine? Dunno where is this unusual reference of "John" coming from but sources close to the family reveal how Kareena now-a-days only prefers calling Taimur as her Little John, by almost renaming her baby boy. Now many might wonder if it's a result of the flak that Taimur received on being named after a traitor as claimed by a certain section of the society but then if you notice, neither Saif nor Kareena are apologetic about naming their baby as Taimur. In fact, Saif had even spoken in his defense saying, "I am aware that there is a Turkish ruler who is possibly a little violent. That was Timur and this is Taimur. It might sound similar because it has similar roots. Also, to judge the past by today's lens is a little far out. A name doesn't really mean anything. Asoka is a violent name then. There's Alexander too."

That reminds us how Kareena had gushed with pride by calling Taimur as the most gorgeous' child on this side of the equator stating,"I say it with a lot of pride that he (Taimur) is the most gorgeous child, not because he is mine, but because he is very good looking. Yes, he has the Pathan genes, but it's also because I ate a lot of ghee."


So we really don't think Little John' has anything to do with the criticisms that's keeping the internet busy but we are equally curious to know why the mention of "John!" Especially considering he is the only child she carried full term and didn't terminate the pregnancy, like she did with her last pregnancies starting with the first one when she was 15/16.
