Zoya edges this one out for me.

Shoojit at #2. For some reason many think Shoojit directed PINK. He did not. But Piku, Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe and Yahaan are good enough.

Best is Raju Hirani. He's very convincing in his storytelling. I also find Farhan Akthar a good director. He should direct more movies than acting

Worst lot has Farah, her brother and her hubby accompanied by some more 😆

Why did you exclude Hirani for the options?

Overall, my top-10 would be - not in order:

- SLB
- Raju Hirani
- Sriram Raghavan
- Kabir Khan
- Deebakar Banerjee

These would be my top-5 directors right now.

Shoojit is the best of the lot. Zoya is very talented but I don't like the subjects that she's chosen post LBC (which I think is the best film any of these lot has made). Farah is the pits - she's a madaari rather than a director.

From these;

Soojit Sircar and Zoya Akhtar. Soojit is yet to make a poor movie. I have enjoyed all his movies, Vicky Donor in particular.

Also I agree with Dudley, Luck By Chance is a movie that is beyond anyone of this list apart from maybe Soojit. I would have put Zoya ahead but she dropped the big time with DDD, not a poor movie per say, it had its moments definitely but lost its way completely as it approached its end. Not as good at LBC or ZNMD.

Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty are not directors.
