plzz....no match...go check your facts...it's SRK who won far more awards than AB...and it's SRK who's far more popular than AB that he got declared the biggets star in the world!😳

By the way Sanjeev Kumar also won more awards than Mr. Bachchan in his heydays and the talk of tinsel town then was that Sanjeev Kumar used to lobby and get awards. So these awards mean nothing. Sanjeev Kumar got the best actor award for Aandhi which was a flop movie in a year when Amitabh had Deewar which is a cult movie. No one in their right senses would say that Sanjeev Kumar should have got award for Aandhi when AB's Deewar with a monumental performance was there.

There are many other instances of awards gettign rigged. One such instance is Best movie award to Jis Desh mein ganga behti hai when it was pitted against Moghale Aazam. Can you believe JDMGBH being a better movie than Moghale Aazam. The latter is a cult movie and is time immemorial. Similarly teh best music awars in the same year went to Shankar Jaikishan when Naushad's historical music with Lata's renditions liek Pyar Kiya to Daran Kya and Mohe Panghat was there again for Moghale Aazam.

And everyone knows a huge penchant in SRK for receiving awards. 😕 The lobbies, the media it is not a tacit fact anymore. Don't even use the analogy of awards to compare the league of Mr. Bachchan with a non-actor (in his own words) SRK. Go through Bollywood's top 200 movies and see how many of these belong to Mr. Bachchan and how many to SRK. SRK is an actor made by Yash Chopra and KJo without which he is Mr. plain Jane. And also see how many of SRK's big hits feature Kajol and Madhuri. Dilwale (Kajol), KKHH (Kajol) Dil To Pagal hai (Madhtri) K3G (mega star cast Hritik, Amit, Kajol, Jaya, and Kareena).

Reagrding conflcist well I have read in many articles about SRK provoking AB but Ab is too big for him.

And SRK might have been declared the biggest star (?? in which magazine) of the year, but AB is the superstar of the millenium. Now tell me what woould commons sense suggest is a bigger title.

I dont believe in any of these articles. Its just media trying to get some attention.

Both are great actors and I am sure they are also mature enough to handle their professional rivalries among themselves. We do not need to criticise them.

I am surprised there are so many shahrukh khan haters. Why do you guys hate him so much? Just for the fact that he is as popular as Big B?

Why are you guys arguing over this and taking sides? Both SRK and Amitabh have denied personal rivalry so who are we to point out the personal rivalry over here, so how can you believe such an article? Thats just the purpose of this article to create hype in the media about who is the best!

Personally I like both SRK and Amitabh Bachan, both are brilliant actors and I'm not gonna discredit either of them just to prove whose the best.

i think this article is concerned with the KBC show issue, not srk and amitabh's films.

i think that srk can match upto amitabh's performance, and can even do better than that... and i think that this issue is going too far... srk himself was shocked to hear that he got offered this show, the makers of this show wanted big b to be replaced wid Srk...so wat is srk's fault in this... i dont find any reason here which makes srk at fault in any way... if big b has a grudge against him for this reason, (which i truly doubt) then i think there is an ego problem here sumwhere.

and lyk it has been mentioned above that if u go and search for the top 200 bollywood movies, one will find tons of movies that belong to big b. well, first of all how many mocvies has srk and amitabh done... amitabh has acted over 150 movies, while srk has only acted in about 60... the fact that big b has more movies to his hand proves my point, then one can cum to the conclusion that he probably has more hits, but doz not make lsrk ess then him in any way... he may have hits more wid the chopras and karan johar, but to tell u the truth, i dont really see everyone being lucky wid blocknbusters continuosly wid the same director, dont forget its srk's acting that makes the film a hit as well, its not just the banner of the film!

First they start a debate by saying that SRK has won more awards than Big B and that he is a bigger star than Big B, and then when that issue is contested, they take a u turn sayign well the topic is not about films but about KBC. Hello, whether it is KBC or any film, SRK is only an infant comapred to the might of Big B. He is a kaccha khiladi and still needs acting and comparing lessons. He is so self absorbed, that all I can imagine in KBC show is a monologue with the participant, host, director and producer being one and one only Mr. Shahrukh Khan.😆 What a disaster it will be.🤢

in case u havent noticed, how many debates have been there regarding SRK and Amitabh? i think way too many, and its really childish, debating on whose better then the other, and wen we dont even have a topic on which actor is better than the other, then i find it really hard to believe that sum ppl still find it interesting to bring up a statement lyk Amitabh is better than SRK... i mean cum on.

widout a doubt srk has won more awards then amitabh, there is no doubt in that!.... and to me its really funny that u seem to consider srk an infant in front of amitabh, wen srk has replaced amitabh in a show which he has dominated for a long time, i dont think any "infant" would ever do that.....in my opinion srk is better than amitabh in numerous ways, they r both great actors in their ways, but to me its king khan all the way, no point of arguing here, if u lyk amitabh then thats fine, thats ur opinion, but plz dont degrade the other actor... i think the fact that srk gets compared to amitabh is very clear itself that srk is no less then amitabh!

India Forums is about voicing your opinion but please do so in a way where you remmeber these are just actors and actresses in the end.

This topic would have been great for a disscusion but as you guys have started going off point topic will be closed although there is no bashing so far 😉
