@Sherlock- Those are social norms though, right? Why is it necessary that a guy has to be richer or more successful than a girl? As PC said, "When a guy comes into my life, it won't be to buy me diamonds. I buy my own diamonds". If it was all about money, then marry an ATM no? 😆

Basically, it affects both boys and girls, 'cause then girls are told their value is in how 'pretty' they are and a guy is told his worth lies in how much he can earn.

Like what will a girl gain from the marriage 'market' if she is considered 'ugly' by society or what will a guy do if they're not an engineer earning 6 figures?
