i think this movie will be highest opening movie for Akshay..more than 15 crore ...Raees Kaabil ki tai tai phissh so akshay aakela race main 😉

Akshay's highest opener is actually Singh is Bling, which released on a national holiday, with around 20 crore opening day! But his highest non-holiday openers so far are in the 15 crore range (Rowdy Rathore, Brothers, Housefull 3). Jolly LLB 2 has a holiday on opening day in few parts of India, as I mentioned in my article.

@maroon5.0 It will be impossible for Jolly LLB 2 to gross 150 crore, as the highest grossers in February till now have had lifetime collections in the 70+ crore range. The only way the film would have a chance to reach 150 crore lifetime collection would be if the film had extraordinary WOM like Dangal, which is highly unlikely!

@ZanduBaaM the opening day will be counted as a non-holiday because the holiday is in very few parts of India. The holiday in the few parts will boost collections a bit, but opening day will still be counted as a non-holiday nonetheless.
