She was and is an overhyped beauty queen driven by PR hype. Nothing more, nothing less. It's funny how none of the beauty queens can act.

Juhi is the only exception...she was Miss India I think.

I think her looks are her plus as well as minus points. She has always been more famous for her beauty. Not that she hasn't tried good roles and acting. But yes I agree, though she is a famous star, at her peak too, she lacked the power to pull off a film only on her shoulders.I am sure there must be some exceptions though.

Sridevi and Madz were last female mega stars, only Juhi Chawla and Kajol come close to these two. No use comparing to their stardom, 'coz ther was a point when Madz was called female Amitabh Bachchan. As she has seen that time when roles were specially written keeping Madhuri in mind.
