So Raees had to start manpluatung figures from day 6 as Kaabil manipulated from day 1? Interesting

Nice article bobbyji. We need a better tracking system. Also analysis for movies are all wrong. How can 10 year old movie be compared to something that was released in 2016. There is inflation, prices are hiked, everything is different. We need something different than 100, 200, 300 crore club. It is a wash-out model. The whole manipulation has made a joke out of it.

What is needed is Cost/Profit analysis and third party rechecking the figures. 😡

I hope this will end people's obsession with boxoffice collections.

Seriously though...it's none of our business how much a film collects. The only thing we should be discussing is the merits of the film itself, the performances etc. what difference does it make to us if it makes 100 cr or 200 cr except for fan wars and bragging rights? All the hard work that goes into making a film goes un-noticed while people are fighting over whether it opened with 7 cr or 8 cr.

This didnt start with Raees and Kaabil

Has been going on for some years now only now trade people are speaking out more strongly abt it.
