Dunno if it counts as filth..but there were plans to kick off Dutt biopic with a US schedule showing Dutt in drug re-hab. It was either NYC or Atlanta I think where he went and they were planning to re-create that.

Whether that scene been cancelled or is the US schedule pushed to later, god knows.

Other filth like jail-time should be in the movie. Ranbir has to lose all his weight gain so that must be for jail/re-hab time.

^^ Jail/ rehab time is all fine but the question is how much of it will be whitewashed.. Biopics are so one-dimensional especially if the person is alive and kicking

A BW movie and do not create sympathy for a BW insider? That also when movie is getting made by same insider's friend. Ho hi nahi sakta.

See i know the definition of white-washed but put it in context as to how you think Dutt might be white-washed.

For example, if you see someone going through the motions in drug re-hab or sitting in jail, you automatically understand that doing drugs is bad or jail-life isn't fun. So don't try to do this shit. It's not something that has to be said explicitly. When you see how torturous rehab treatment is, apne aap samajh mein aa jana chahiye.

And RK said the youth has a lesson to learn. Personally, I have seen way too many people do things like charas, etc upon the slightest hint of discomfort in their life. Gf ne chhod diya-charas, exam mein fail-charas, family problems-charas. Maybe by looking at the side effects of doing such stuff (if the re-hab scene is still being shot & things like that) in the movie, youth will understand ki baat-baat pe usko lena isn't a way to deal with your problems of life. Just my thinking...

I agree. But it won't be hopefully like Azhar where entire thing was white washed.

I get this but had it been a fictional character with JT and Rehab, it would have been effective.. Here, they would be more into showing how life forced him to do drugs and he was a golden soul at heart and everything that he did was driven by circumstances is what I think will happen and which I think should not
