I have heard homosexuality always existed , have even heard that thousand years ago it was openly rampant at one point ( ofcourse it gets a different type of explanation in religious texts ) so i won't be surprised about it .

Whether it was for PR or whatever but shahrukh was harassed and i have seen nobody speaking about it at that time beacause it was SRK vs SLB and may be they all coukdn't differentiate REEL Vs REAL and thought that saying something will be like supporting DW 🤔

May be he does believe that if the film is good then audience will go and watch it eventually ...recently remember him saying ti .

none of the characters were religious leaders, so i dont know why religion is being brought into this, also slb is basing the film on the famous poem, its not a documentary, its a film for entertainment with song and dance, but slb's team has clarified that they r not gonna put in anything to offend the rajput community

I hope post this incident Filmakers stop showing Anytji g in the name of Creative Liberty .
Though what happened was Horrific and I hope strict actions are Actions against those ,but sorry these Directors take lot of Freedom of expression while depicting Historic characters .

And Can please Kenya Mata shows be stopped airing ...showing whatever in the name go Jodha Akbar and Chandragupta Maurya ...what shown there is even more Insulting .

Its true no one supported SRK. Instead most of BW laughed at him or mocked him. I remember his so called friend Juhi made some statements saying she heard DW is a bad film hence she hasnt seen it. All this hurt SRK's reputation. SRK later even returned distributors money. But its also true that some protests were there. Akshay guy had indirectly spoken about no producer taking the hit during the ADHM controversy and exhibitors having to pay the price and he gave example of DW. But I am not sure if something happened to his cinema during DW times or not.

I think overall this whole releasing movies in cinemas must stop in India till cinema owners, governments and radical elements learn a lesson. Better release movies directly on the net(anyways most watch on net itself) or DTH.
