Basically aaj itne bade holiday ke baad working day to collection kam hoga for both films. But since sunday advance is excellent it means the movie has been accepted by the public. Otherwise a film doesnt grow even if its a sunday, that too when sunday is the 5th day of the film

With two days already gone, both Shah
Rukh Khans Raees and Hrithik Roshans
Kaabil have proved that they are here for
the long haul. Even a clash can't slow them
down. Obviously, there will be one who will
race ahead, and Shah Rukh's film is doing
that in this case. With Rs. 46.72 crore in the
first two days, it is already on its way to post
some really formidable numbers on board.
Kaabil too earned a good Rs. 29.1 crore.
Republic Day definitely gave huge boost to
their numbers. Things will be a lot different
today since it is not a holiday. According to
the buzz, the morning and afternoon shows
of both films have seen decent crowd. But
the evening and nights shows are expected
to bring in a lot of money for the films. (Also

Roshan's Kaabil and Aamir Khan's Dangal to
release in Pakistan? )
Now Wednesday was a non-holiday and
despite that Raees earned over Rs. 20 crore
and Kaabil took home over Rs. 10 crore. So
on Friday, Raees can be expected to bring in
nearly Rs. 15 -18 crore which is big too. In
three days, it will be easily able to earn more
than Rs. 50 crore which will only work in its
favour. That will put Shah Rukh's film on
victory path. As for Hrithik's Kaabil, the film is
showing no signs of getting bogged down
by SRK's movie at all and is recording good
numbers today as well. Despite having far
lesser screens than Raees, the kind of
business the film is doing is simply
commendable. Today, it can add another Rs.
10-11 crore to its kitty to take the film to
great heights.
Also, whatever Kaabil is earning it's only
profit. We had spoken to Rakesh Roshan to
know about the budget and other details
about the film and he had revealed, "You
know I sold the film for a lesser price to my
distributors. I am the only producer who
sells to individual distributors. My all India
sale to distributors is not exceeding more
than Rs. 42 crores. I made the film in,
without counting Hrithik's and my price, we
have made the film at a budget of Rs. 35
crore. Plus Rs. 15 cr on P&A. Satellite rights
were sold for Rs. 50 cr, while music was
sold for Rs 8 crore. Overseas went for Rs. 16
crore." So clearly, the film has already
recovered its investments and whatever it is
earning now, is just profits!
