I always believed that Abhi Karishma would have been more compatible and Jaya adored Karishma.
Half the time the entire family looks frustrated. Seriously Abhi is not by wifes side during awards but paa is always there.

True that. But I am not least surprised that they are living separately. I doubt anyone on this forum would have been surprised by that. The only thing that shocks me is that they've been living separately for such a long time and media never got a wind of it. Or maybe they did get wind of it but never wrote about it. That is actually strange considering how they didn't mind writing about AB's misbehavior with DP because of which she didn't invite him to Piku success bash. I mean, for all we know, it was probably just a rumor but the point to note is that it was written about anyway. Also, there was something else a few years ago about how he touched some actress, I think Sayali Bhagat (I might have gotten the name wrong), during some event. Also, media never gave up on writing about Ash's pregnancy rumors of even for that matter, stating how she had gone for IVF to get a boy baby in particular because AB wanted a grandson only. I mean I know most of it might have even turned out to be rubbish but the thing to note here is that media isn't really bothered about AB's status that much. They do write scandalous stuff about him, maybe not as much as they write about others.And if no one wrote about Jaya and AB's separate living for almost two decades, then I would say that no one probably even knew about it. But considering how Amar Singh knew, then I am guessing all the other people close to Bachchans knew as well. I have to say it is commendable for someone like KJo and all the other bitchy actresses (as the blinds say) of Bandra to have kept quiet on this so far. Maybe media is fine about writing about Bachchans but no one inside bollywood wants to mess with them. I wonder why because AB isn't as powerful anymore and Ash can barely run a film on her own.
The fallout between Bachchans and former SP leader Amar Singh is known to all. And while the politician has claimed a lot many things about the family even in the past, he is at it again but in a fiercer avatar.
Singh alleged that Big B and Jaya Bachchan are living separately in different houses. He also went ahead and stated that Aishwarya and MIL Jaya don't share an amicable relationship.
While clarifying that he has no hand in creating a rift in the Samajwadi Party, Singh told, "People blame me for every possible rift in the country. When the Ambanis split, they projected me as the person who created the Mahabharat between them. It wasn't me. People have said the same about me and the Bachchans. But even before I met Amitabh Bachchan, he and Jaya Bachchan were living separately. One of them was living in Pratiksha and the other lives in his other bungalow Janak. There were also speculations about a problem between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jaya. I am not responsible for that."
Though Big B hasn't reacted to the statement as of yet, it certainly has created a lot of stir.

😆😆 Amar Singh is targeting Jaya Bachchan because she is a star campaigner of SP (Akhilesh Singh).
Moreover why grudge about Bachchan family affair, they can live in as many houses as they want. How does it affect Amar?
But its well known that Amar Singh creates rifts between family members, thats his innate quality.
Karishma was so much better for Abhishek, but Babita ruined it all.
