There's no unpredictability in BW... That's what is not appealing to me anymore. Like
1) The nepotism as everyone already stated. I have no problem if someone want to launch their kid in an industry where they have some power and history...as many common people too so that. But what I have a problem with is that if that kid has failed time and again..people are still ready to look past it. But for an outsider...there is no such privilege as such...unless they are offering some kind of 'favour' to directors, actors, etc
2) The lack of fresh pairings and concepts Music too. Same singers and all. Boring.
3) The main issue I have is with the pseudo intellectual, elitist, heeron ke johri criticks. What I find amusing is that these people who are/were a failure at what they actually wanted to do...but ended up being the 'judges' of films for their own benefit. Reviewing a film for most of them is free money and gifts/bribes. And for that people who have put efforts or even achieved a degree are ridiculed.
4) PR... .this PR fascination by celebs is off-putting. Fans keep on saying that it doesn't matter if their fav is a douche/has a bad personality..they have talent to back them up. Well if that was the case then your fav wouldn't spend money on PR in the first place. So many celebs want a clean/good image...because it matters in this SM world.
5) Piracy. Roko yaar isko. It hurts every film. But I guess nobody wants to take a stand against it because it may work for them when a rival's film is releasing.
That's it for now. 😆

You are bound to get bored if you are trying to please your peers or trying to fit in by complying with bandwagon's ideas and thoughts.

ETA - Oh there is another group, they go to theaters, but they give too much importance to the reactions of a bunch of people sitting around them inside the theater... Arre, baba, kuch toh apne dimag se socho.. kabhi toh apne dil ki suno!

Social media and trying-hard-to-fit-in mentality have ruined our happiness. We aren't satisfied with anything, bored of everything because we aren't listening to our own heart. Khud ke satisfaction ke baare mein socho, dusro ko please karna chodo.. bore nahin hoge aap log.

Dahee wrote more than one line 😲😆😆

But couldn't agree more here, bandwagoner/peer pressure mentality is annoying, in both real world and social media.

I am bored of the blind items. It used to be juicy and fun guessing and solving it. Initially they were few and had certain degree of truth in it. But now every other day there's new blind popping out, some right before the release of the movie. Most of them are lame or manufactured.

"Love"stories where ladka-ladki initially want to do timepass but then actually fall in love. Sick of that shit.

Excessive referencing of past movies. At least do it creatively - like Sriram Raghavan did it with Parwana in Johnny Gaddaar

Biopics. Zzz

Attempts to force fit a love story in a film no matter what the genre is.

The curse of the 2nd half. Even the best made films suffer from this. Need to ditch the interval ASAP.

Every outsider who talks about how they made it. I get it. Now shut up and act.
More than few star kid who should be encouraged to take another career. Spare us please.

Everything. 😆 From movies to celebs to their persona, nothing seems interesting. Everything is too reharsed and fake.
The same is happening with TV too. Nothing is worth getting addicted to. I actually miss the good ole' TV shows and movies.

And TBH HW seems to have been saturated too in terms of freshness. I have given up on movies since last few months and watching re-runs of my favorite TV shows. 😆
