what is it about BW that has begun to bore you? - Page 4

Tired of knowing every thing a celeb is doing all the time. I don't want to see your selfies everyday. I don't want to know what you eat or when you are exercising everyday. They don't add any mystery to themselves anymore. They don't make you want to see them.
Tired of seeing the same 10 people in every other movie. Repetitive item songs that don't even go with the film. Content, over promotion. Especially when a star over promotes themself rather than their work.
Who is dating who, who should marry who, who will kill and hook-up with who. KJO in general. Alia-Sid.

Bollywood trailers beyond two minutes. Poora film hi dikha deta hai aajkal since they don't have confidence in their films.

Bandwagoning and peer pressure among audiences.

Movie achchi lagi hai toh khushi khushi bolo, "Bohat achche!", buri lagi toh "Bura". Trailer pasand aaya hai toh theater mein jao, theater mein iss liye nahi jao ya jaane se khud ko matt roko kyun ke Anupama yah phir smartest classmate ne achcha/bura kaha hai... aur ya toh box-office mein dhamal macha/pit rahi hai.

You are bound to get bored if you are trying to please your peers or trying to fit in by complying with bandwagon's ideas and thoughts.

ETA - Oh there is another group, they go to theaters, but they give too much importance to the reactions of a bunch of people sitting around them inside the theater... Arre, baba, kuch toh apne dimag se socho.. kabhi toh apne dil ki suno!

Social media and trying-hard-to-fit-in mentality have ruined our happiness. We aren't satisfied with anything, bored of everything because we aren't listening to our own heart. Khud ke satisfaction ke baare mein socho, dusro ko please karna chodo.. bore nahin hoge aap log.

So in short, everything about current BW sucks. Why are we all here? 😆

The incessant publicity before movies release. These days we have actors on every single reality tv show (Kapil, BB10, CNB, etc.). Not to mention the ads on tv, promotions on social media by other actors, and various interviews. It's just like, calm down a little, you know? Overexposure kills interest.

I'm not bored. 😛 But I miss certain things about old BW like scandalous gossip in 90s' & singers like Udit Narayan & Sonu Nigam.

Same stories that are being told again and again ..No innovation in story telling .Bollywood movies do not excite me anymore
